What is Buy with Prime and how does it work?
Buy with Prime will enable millions of U.S.-based Prime members to shop directly from merchants’ online stores with the trusted experience they expect from Amazon—including fast, free delivery, a seamless checkout experience, and free returns on eligible orders. Prime members will see the Prime logo and delivery promise on eligible products in merchants’ online stores, which signals the item is available for free delivery, as fast as next day, with hassle-free returns. When shopping with Buy with Prime, members will also enjoy a simple, convenient seamless checkout experience, using the payment and shipping information already stored in their Amazon account, and receive timely shipping and delivery notifications after an order is placed. How do I make a purchase using Buy with Prime on The Basic Store?
To make Buy with Prime purchases on The Basic Store, you must be an Amazon Prime member. When you click on the “Buy with Prime” button, you will be prompted to sign into your Amazon account. You can then complete your order using your preferred payment method from your Amazon account.

Where can I check the status of my order?
You can check your order status by clicking on the link in your order confirmation email, where you can view your order details
. For Buy with Prime purchases, you won’t see or be able to track orders on your
Amazon.com Orders page or in the Amazon mobile app. You need your order confirmation email to access your order details.

What is the Buy with Prime Return Policy?
Your return experience for Buy with Prime orders is automated from the time you submit a return request until you get your refund.
You can return eligible orders within 30-days of delivery (if purchased during the holidays, the return window extends to 90-days). You can verify the return eligibility of your purchase by contacting our Customer Service team here. You will be able to receive a full refund as long as the returned items are in re-saleable condition and returned within the return window. For eligible orders, you will receive a full refund once your return is dropped off and scanned at a USPS location.

Who do I contact for issues and/or questions for my Buy with Prime order?
We’ll send an order confirmation to your email address once you place your order. This email will contain a link where you can access your order details and track shipment progress. You will also receive shipping notification emails upon order shipment and delivery. If you have a question or need help, you can email our Customer Service team by using the “Get support” button on these pages or you can contact our Customer Service team directly via our
Contact Us page. If contacting us through the Contact Us page, be sure to have your order number handy. You can find your order number in your order confirmation email.

How do shipping, returns and refunds work?

Can I use Amazon gift cards, promotional discounts, or points when I use Buy with Prime?
Amazon.com gift cards, promotional discounts offered by participating sites, or points can’t be used as a payment method to place an order using the Buy with Prime checkout experience. Amazon.com Gift Cards can only be used to purchase eligible goods and services on Amazon.com and certain related sites as detailed in the Amazon.com Gift Card Terms and Conditions.

Can I make Buy with Prime purchases if I'm not in the US?
Buy with Prime orders can only be placed and shipped within the US.

Is my information secure?
We know you take your personal information seriously - we do too. The Basic Store is invested in earning and maintaining your trust. After you place an order, Amazon will share with The Basic Store information from your Amazon account to process your order. This includes your name, email, shipping address and phone number. Amazon doesn’t share your credit, debit or bank account number with The Basic Store. For all Buy with Prime orders, The Basic Store maintains and protects customer data and will use your information according to our privacy policy.

Can I set up subscriptions using Buy with Prime?
The Buy with Prime checkout experience does not support subscriptions.

What happens if my order is late?
Most packages arrive on time, but orders sometimes show up after the estimated delivery date. Possible reasons for late delivery include:

  • Incorrect address
  • Missing apartment, building, floor, or unit number
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Other carrier-related delays.

If you do not receive your order in the anticipated time-frame, we recommended that you do the following:

  • From your order confirmation email, click through to the Order Details page to check the status of your order. Your shipping confirmation email will also include a link to track your package.
  • On the Order Details page, you can confirm your shipping address.
  • Wait 48 hours to allow for unexpected delays.

What forms of payment do you accept?
For Buy with Prime orders, you can pay using your preferred payment method stored in your Amazon account. For standard orders (i.e., orders not placed with Buy with Prime) on The Basic Store we only accept Amazon Pay. Learn more about Amazon Pay payment methods.

How is sales tax determined?
The amount of sales tax charged on your orders depends on multiple factors, including the type of item purchased and your delivery address. The tax rate is the combined state and local rates associated with your address. For example, if you live in a state that does not impose a sales tax, you may still see tax calculated on your order if it is delivered to another state. Sales tax is calculated and charged at the time you place the order.
